Set up reservations

Activate the reservation system

  1. Install the Reservations app through the Marketplace
  2. Open Reservations > Settings
  3. Set your opening hours

Create resources

Resources are the bookable units in your business, e.g. tables, rooms, or staff members.

  1. Go to Reservations > Resources
  2. Click Add resource
  3. Enter a name and capacity (e.g. "Table 5", 4 guests)
  4. Assign the resource to a section if needed

For restaurants, we recommend adding all tables with their seating capacity. For service businesses (e.g. hair salons), add staff members as resources instead.

Define services

If your business offers different services with varying durations:

  1. Open Reservations > Services
  2. Create a service with a name, duration, and optional price
  3. Assign the service to the relevant resources

Example: A hair salon might create "Men's haircut (30 min)" and "Women's haircut (60 min)".

Set availability

Under Reservations > Schedules you define when bookings are available:

  • Regular hours: Per weekday with start and end times
  • Exceptions: Public holidays, closures, or special opening hours

Enable online booking

To let customers book directly:

  1. Go to Reservations > Booking links
  2. Create a new booking link
  3. Select the service and available resources
  4. Share the link on your website or social media

Customers will see your available time slots and can book instantly. You receive a notification for every new booking.
