Welcome to Kotao

Kotao is an all-in-one platform for managing your workspace, point-of-sale, and reservations. This guide will help you get started quickly.

Getting Started

Step 1: Create Your Workspace

After signing up, you will be prompted to create your first workspace. A workspace represents your business location — give it a name and select your business type.

Step 2: Set Up Your Team

Invite team members to your workspace from the Settings > Team section. Assign roles to control what each member can access.

Step 3: Configure Your POS

Navigate to Payments in the sidebar to set up your point-of-sale system. Add your products, set prices, and connect a payment terminal.

Step 4: Enable Reservations

If your business takes bookings, go to Reservations to set your availability, configure table or resource layouts, and enable online booking.
