Account and profile settings

Edit your profile
Under Settings > Profile you can update:
- Name: Shown to your team members and in comments
- Profile picture: Click the image to upload a new one. JPG and PNG are supported
- Language: Sets the interface language (English or German)
Changes are saved immediately and synced across all your devices.
Change your email address
- Go to Settings > Profile > Email
- Enter your new email address
- You will receive a confirmation link at the new address
- Click the link to finalise the change
Your current email stays active until you confirm the new one.
Change your password
- Open Settings > Security
- Click Change password
- Enter your current password and the new one
- Click Save
We recommend a password of at least 12 characters that includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Configure notifications
Under Settings > Notifications you can control what you are notified about:
- Email notifications: New bookings, cancelled reservations, team invitations
- Push notifications (mobile app): Instant alerts on your phone
Each category can be toggled on or off individually.
Delete your account
If you want to permanently delete your account, please contact our support team at support@kotao.com. Account deletion cannot be undone and all associated data will be removed permanently.
